No matter what your choice is to do as a volunteer in Ghana, Africa, you will have an important role to play. Your time and efforts will be greatly appreciated. Many people will benefit from the knowledge and experiences that you share with the people of Ghana, from school children to the elderly. You will impact their lives with helping out in the farming and agriculture communities, wild life conservation efforts, Doctors, Nurses and Dentists with the hospital staff, digging wells and helping to build schools and libraries.

Your experience will continue from your work to your living accommodations. Everyone on a volunteer placement has the opportunity to live with a host family. You will find them very welcoming and they will be eager to find out all about you and your life back home.

You can also assist with school trips to the farm to educate local children. Children are educated on the process of growing crops in a sustainable environment. They also learn how to take care of animals and how to identify seeds, so they can harvest them for further crops in the future.
Due to the heat and humidity, volunteers on the farm typically work from 8am to 12 noon. Those who want to work in the afternoons are encouraged to help out at the local village school or hospital.
